Travel Exclusive

Gold amber in colour. In the mouth, a balance of sweet sherry nuttiness, orange and toffee. Smoky undertones. A wonderful, velvety texture that's rounded and thick. On the nose, flowery (roses), buttery, pink grapefruit, citrus. The finish is sweet, crisp, minty and spicy and also very smooth, with plenty of length and balance. This is the perfect harmony of the distiller’s art and blender’s skill. This process gives the whisky greater depth and added complexity.

Travel Exclusive

In the entire history of this famous distillery there have only been two Master Distillers of The Glenlivet. Since 2009 Alan Winchester has held the distinguished title. Drawing on his reknowned knowledge and expertise he has created a mature whiskey which evolves from European oak butts, first-fill American barrels and re-fill oak hogsheads. This whiskey develops the character of the malt in a truly masterful way.

Travel Exclusive.

Single Highland Malt.

Tasting Notes:

Richer and more oily (buttered toast?) with a trace of sweet hay, and later light toffee. A dry nose over all, but a refreshingly sour-fruit taste (‘soor plooms’) after a sweetish start, and a hint of spice in the finish.

World Duty Free Exclusive

Single Highland Malt.

Tasting Notes:

Fresh fruit, slightly tart - green apple, grapefruit, kiwi - with a trace of dusty dried herbs.
Travel Exclusive

Described by whisky expert Charles Maclean as like "Marmite on burnt toast, then barbequed suckling pig; fresh and maritime with water – smouldering hessian rope and Vicks’ cold remedy. Sweet and salty to taste, with plenty of smoke"

World Duty Free Exclusive

Deep amber in colour. Rich, meaty and winey to start, then dusty and waxy like a fine old desk. The taste is sweet then lightly sour, with gooseberries in the aftertaste. Most unusual.

World Duty Free Exclusive

Tasting Notes:

Bright amber in the glass, like autumn sunlight. The top notes in the aroma combine fresh and dried fruits: tinned pears, waxy apples, sultanas and glacé cherries. A soft texture on the tongue, a centre-palate delivery and a taste which starts lightly sweet and finishes lightly dry, with a warming finish. It drinks well straight, but a drop of water opens up the aroma and introduces an elusive floral scent, with a hint of milk chocolate and toasted oak. The taste is sweeter now, the texture softer (now with a spicy tingle across the tongue) and the medium-length finish leaves an after-taste of almonds.

Travel Exclusive.

Tasting Notes:

Polished wood and dried fruits; cherries and almonds, and some spice in the background. Smooth and voluptuous; sweet and spicy.
