Rare and precious, this cognac is a product of man’s mastery over time. It is structured to achieve a perfect balance, and only once it is tasted does it reveal its true meaning. Powerful and unexpected, Richard Hennessy reaches heights that approach cognac perfection.

Richard Hennessy is the embodiment of almost 250 years of the history, knowledge and expertise of the Hennessy Maison, with a unique blend of exceptional and rare eaux-de-vie aged from 40 years to nearly 200 years old. Each carafe is numbered and made of pure hand-blown crystal.

Its beautiful amber colour, deep and warm, foretells its undeniable strength. Its aroma fills the nose with delicate nuances of flowers, mixed spices, nutmeg and blanched fennel. The power and depth of the aroma is echoed in the mouth, where the spices, notably pepper, play a key supporting role. Then the structure takes shape: leather notes gather, alongside nuts and candied fruits.

Paradis Impérial is a cognac of great stature is unlike any other, pushing the boundaries of finesse. Comprised of eaux-de-vie aged between 30 and 130 years old, with a greater proportion of eaux-de-vie from our 19th century reserves than the Hennessy Paradis, one must enjoy Paradis Impérial slowly, in order to fully appreciate the finesse of every single drop.

The nose reveals itself with the freshness of the first flowers of summer, as the most subtle perfumes waft through the air with a faultless finesse: spring essences, jasmine and orange flower swirl in a bouquet of remarkable intensity. The floral notes return on the palate, unremittingly, continually revealing new tones of expression.

Created by Maurice Hennessy in 1870 for his circle of friends, X.O introduced a new style of cognac: bold, rich and complex.

The 100 eaux-de-vie assembled to create X.O were aged for a long time to give an unparalleled robustness.

Its intense and deep amber colour is a sign of its strength. Its flavours of candied fruit and its subtle and lightly spicy nose create a complete harmony: a mark of its power and roundness. To taste, a smooth, full sensation gives a simultaneously powerful and soft tonality with a hint of cocoa and a warm fruity presence. The long finish expresses all the complexity of the cognac’s blending and its long aging process.

Inspired by a cognac created in 1817 in response to a request from the future king of England, George IV, for a “Very Superior Old Pale” cognac, Hennessy V.S.O.P has built its reputation across nearly 2 centuries. Today Hennessy V.S.O.P has become established as the world’s favourite V.S.O.P cognac, and is recognised for its harmonious and well-structured blend.

On the nose, the first fragrances perceived are soft spices such as vanilla, clove and cinnamon. Then delicate toasted notes follow, arising from the maturation in oak barrels. On the palate, the natural balance of strength and smoothness creates a harmonious blend in which maturity combines with vigour. The structure is softened by a suggestion of fresh grape character.

Hennessy VS (Very Special) is a reference in the art of blending with its unique style. The union of warm-hearted and full-bodied flavours, Hennessy Very Special endures through the ages and pleases connoisseurs searching for a very special moment.

On the nose, Hennessy Very Special brings together an intense and fruity character with oaky notes. On the palate, powerful flavours suggest grilled almonds, supported by notes reminiscent of fresh grapes.

Travel Exclusive

In 1920, James Hennessy, a man of power and taste with strong influence on French social and political life, had a “very private” cognac specially blended to honour his friends among the elites of the day. He requested the Hennessy Master Blender Alfred Fillioux create a cognac that would be both structured and elegant, to reflect the values of Art Deco.

Nearly a century later, Hennessy revived this tradition. Alfred Fillioux’s descendant, Yann Fillioux, composed Hennessy Privé, a fine tribute to James Hennessy. A cognac inspired by Art Deco.

To create Hennessy Privé, the Master Blender has selected remarkable old “eaux-de-vie” which he has aged in young oak casks, to reinforce their strength.

The result is an emblematic cognac of great distinction for true connoisseurs. The perfect example of balance: round and refined, structured and velvety with delicate notes of crystallised fruit. To appreciate its full richness, Hennessy Privé should be drunk neat.

If a gourmet blend exists, revealing the successive aromas that great cognac can obtain, it is called Paradis. Opening the gates of a refined, unique and elegant dimension. Paradis is the fruit of successive blends that combine more than a hundred exceptional eaux-de-vie aged for between 25 and 130 years.

These aromas endlessly stretch and renew themselves, leading to a harmonious depth in the mouth. Honey, floral notes, truffle and mild spices fill the palate in an explosion of flavours.Very soft hints of cardamom and cinnamon, as well as candied fruit give way to fragrant notes recalling dried roses or sweet briar rose jam. Paradis plays with these fragrant paradoxes, offering an endless consistency to the palate.

Created in 2002, and defined by its crystalline appearance, Fine de Cognac is a balanced blend, combining eaux-de-vies characterised by the finesse of floral notes and the delicate accents of fruits, and preserved by a subtle aging.

Fine de Cognac is a unique blend of eaux-de-vie selected for their originality of expression: floral finesse (hints of citrus blossom) and delicate fruit accents (fresh mango, white fruits and grapes
